Job summary

The role requires 5–7 years of experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity, a related degree, and professional HSE certification preferred. This is an on-site position with relocation and extensive collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental required.
• Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.
• Significant relevant experience required, including management of health, safety and/or environmental ISO Standards required.
• 5-7 years of experience, 1-2 years management experience.

Responsibilities

• Foster a strong health, safety, and environmental culture by building trusted partnerships across functions.
• Lead hazard identification, environmental aspect reviews, and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and drive improvements.
• Establish and execute site HSE objectives and improvement plans, ensuring actions are completed on time.
• Develop training programs, enhance employee engagement, and improve HSE knowledge and accountability.
• Provide expert leadership on regulatory compliance, incident investigations, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Drive measurable improvements in safety and environmental performance using data, audits, and corrective actions.
• Partner with regulatory agencies, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance and manage audits.
