Job summary

The City of Oakland Finance Department is recruiting a Senior Human Resources Systems Analyst to join the Payroll Systems Team. You will develop innovative processes, create user documentation, and implement payroll-related system solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a closely related field.
Three years of progressively responsible experience as a systems analyst including at least two years involving a payroll/personnel application.

Responsibilities

Identify requirements, design, configure, develop, test, and deploy system functionalities and enhancements.
Troubleshoot application and data problems.
Produce custom data reports.
Perform systems setup and mass changes.
Develop training programs for users.
Serve as a system security administrator and OTL administrator.
Serve as a technical resource to payroll staff and operations personnel.
Create user documentation.
