Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our HR Technology team in Carmel, Indiana. You will configure, maintain, and optimize Workday to support the business, partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable HR solutions.

We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst with experience in HR systems configuration, business process design, and data/reporting.

You will be part of an HR Technology team responsible for optimizing and supporting HR systems.

You will be involved in system configuration, stakeholder collaboration, and reporting/analytics development.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in Workday configuration, requirements gathering, and data analysis.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in configuration of HRIS or ERP systems.

You Will:
  • Configure, maintain, and understand Workday to support the business.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and HR analytics.
  • Support system implementations, releases, and enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and governance standards.
You Bring:
  • Core Knowledge HR Processes: Deep understanding of HR processes across HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, PTO, and Talent.
  • Governance & Security: Knowledge of HR data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
  • Process Design: Understanding of end-to-end business process design and optimization.
  • Functional Expertise Requirements Translation: Proven ability to gather and translate complex business requirements into scalable HRIS solutions.
  • Lifecycle Implementations: Experience leading full lifecycle implementations, including requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Analytical Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities within integrated HR systems.
  • Reporting Strategy: Expertise in designing reporting strategies, including dashboards and HR analytics.
  • Technical Expertise Platform Configuration: Advanced Workday configuration experience.
  • System Integrations: Strong understanding of cross-functional system integrations.
  • Data Analysis: Advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities.
  • Excel Proficiency: Advanced proficiency utilizing formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data modeling.
  • Release Management: Experience managing system releases and feature adoption cycles.
