Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our Technical Services Unit (TSU). You will provide strategic HR leadership, guiding managers and employees across designated regions to align with corporate HR objectives and policies.

The role administers employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, engagement, workforce and succession planning, training, HRIS, recruitment support, and relocation, while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to managers and employees across designated regions or divisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide HR strategies, policies, and programs.
• Administer a broad range of HR functions including employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, engagement, workforce and succession planning, employee development, performance management, organizational development, HRIS, recruitment support, and relocation.
• Identify and elevate emerging HR trends and issues, collaborating with business leaders to support workforce planning.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, managing conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and discrimination concerns.
• Partner with other HR teams to address organizational challenges, recommending innovative approaches to enhance departmental efficiency.
• Advise managers on performance feedback strategies to support employee growth and development.
• Lead or contribute to HR initiatives, projects, and program development efforts that drive organizational effectiveness.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the HR function and the broader organization.
