TrendAI, the AI security leader and Trend Micro unit, is seeking an experienced HRBP to support R&D Americas. The role partners with Engineering leadership on leveling, compensation, and career progression while shaping org design and culture across a fast-growing engineering organization.

Based in the United States with a hybrid Austin office, you will steer talent planning, performance calibration, and cross-functional HR programs, ensuring transparent, data-driven decisions across the R&D

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HRBP or strategic HR experience, with at least 5+ years supporting R&D, engineering, or technical organizations.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with comfort using Excel and dashboards.
• Experience in leveling frameworks, compensation banding, and career architecture.

Responsibilities

• Talent Management & Career Development: own talent planning and development conversations for R&D Americas leadership and key ICs.
• Organization Design & Scaling: lead org design conversations as R&D grows and partner with Product leadership.
• Employee Relations & Culture: be the strategic voice on ER issues and culture initiatives.
• Strategic Partnerships & Change: drive initiatives requiring influence and build business cases with engineering/finance partners.
• Analytics & Insights: track leveling distribution, compensation equity, retention, promotion velocity, and hiring pipeline health.
