Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to support Big Star Dodge & Big Star Buick GMC in Baytown, TX. The role alternates days at each dealership with offices at both locations, focusing on strategic HR initiatives and employee experience.

You will partner with executives and field leaders, drive talent, culture, and performance, and lead HR initiatives across the dealerships. A strong background in HRBP, leadership, and analytics is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a master’s degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of HR business partner/manager experience in large or retail environments.
• PHR certification is a plus.
• Workday experience or similar HRIS with data input and reporting is preferred.
• Experience interviewing and selecting top talent; credible HR expert.

Responsibilities

• Partner with RVP, GMs and managers to influence KPIs and growth.
• Provide training, coaching and development for the HR team.
• Collaborate with corporate HR on strategic initiatives and strategy.
• Lead dealership managers to align culture and performance with policies.
• Review turnover metrics and help leaders stay below company goals.
• Own data analytics to drive actions and outcomes for management.
