Job summary

Komatsu seeks a Senior Manager, HR Transformation & Strategic Programs to lead the HR transformation portfolio, establish governance, and accelerate executive decision-making across cross-functional initiatives. The role partners with the CHRO and HR leadership to improve execution discipline and drive enterprise-wide transformation.

The position is onsite with Milwaukee or Chicago offices, requires regular travel, and focuses on delivering measurable value realization, governance, and adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 8+ years in HR transformation, strategy, or enterprise program leadership.
• Experience across HR disciplines and matrixed organizations.
• Strong executive communication and governance material creation.
• Travel: 15% and onsite 4 days/week in Milwaukee/Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern the HR transformation portfolio operating model.
• Evaluate data, identify risks, and prepare executive materials.
• Lead governance discussions on tradeoffs and dependencies.
• Resolve cross-functional barriers and escalate issues with options.
• Define success measures and assess adoption and business impact.
• Establish agile portfolio practices and AI-enabled scenario planning.
• Provide portfolio-level project and change management leadership.
• Maintain portfolio plans, schedules, risks, and stakeholder assessments.
• Document decisions and portfolio updates for executives.
• Coach leaders on prioritization, governance, and change management.
• Use Microsoft 365 and AI productivity tools with confidentiality controls.
