Job summary
DraftKings Inc. is seeking a seasoned Workday leader to own strategy, governance, and the health of our Workday platform across Core HCM, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Payroll.
You will guide a cross-functional team, shape the operating model, and drive scalable, product-minded delivery with a strong emphasis on user outcomes. You will partner with People, Finance, IT, and Audit to ensure compliant, high‑performing solutions and leverage AI and automation to reduce manual work while enhancing
Qualifications
- 7+ years in Workday or enterprise HR tech.
- 2+ years leading technical teams.
- Governance, controls, and SOX experience.
- Practical experience with enterprise AI tools and workflow automation.
- Executive presence and strong stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy, governance, health, security, scalability of Workday across multiple modules.
- Lead a five-person Workday platform team and develop capabilities across roles.
- Design future-state team structure and operating model for configuration, integrations, and automation.
- Shift the team to consultative, product-minded delivery focused on user problems and measurable outcomes.
- Manage intake, prioritization, capacity planning, sourcing, and portfolio tradeoffs across run, improve, transform.
