Job summary

GSD seeks a seasoned HR leader to champion a people-first culture, overseeing payroll, benefits, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives across the organization. You will act as a key partner and change agent, balancing data integrity with empathy to support teams on the front lines of disaster response.

The role requires directing multi-state compliance, talent development, and change management, while aligning programs with company values and operational needs at GSD.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in Human Resources with progressive responsibility.
• Three or more years of HR management experience.
• Experience developing programs and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll and benefits administration with regulatory compliance.
• Lead job classification reviews, benchmarking, and compensation planning.
• Audit personnel files, I-9 compliance, and safety reporting.
• Coach and develop direct reports; drive change management initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals.
