You will advise managers, handle employee relations, and supervise HR operations to ensure policy compliance and organizational effectiveness.

The role emphasizes strategic collaboration with the HR Director and university partners, with responsibilities spanning recruitment, development, and labor relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible HR experience.
• Experience advising managers in a unionized environment.
• Cover letter required in addition to a resume.
• Strong communication, judgment, and project management skills.
• Prior experience in higher education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition and recruitment strategies for staff positions.
• Oversee performance management and leadership development processes.
• Consult with managers on performance and workplace concerns.
• Coordinate job reviews, reclassifications, and organizational analysis.
• Oversee employee and labor relations and contract administration.
• Guide leaves and accommodations and ensure policy compliance.
• Supervise HR staff and streamline HR workflows and reporting.
