Job summary

Harvard Divinity School (HDS) in Cambridge, MA, seeks an Assistant Director of Human Resources to serve as a senior HR consultant and advisor to managers, faculty, and staff. You will lead talent acquisition, performance management, and leaves/accommodations while guiding labor relations and organizational development.

The role partners with the HR Director to advance workforce planning, HR programs, and continuous improvement of HDS HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seven years of HR experience preferred.
• Experience advising managers in a unionized environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR consulting for managers on complex workforce matters across disciplines.
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.
• Coordinate leaves, accommodations, and labor relations with university partners.
