Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions for a full‑service resort. This role partners with leadership to ensure legal compliance, drive employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and training across multiple outlets including spa and F&B.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years HR experience, 2+ years in HR management, and strong knowledge of employment law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required.
• 2+ years of Human Resources management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices required.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters.
• Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
• Flexible scheduling: may require occasional evening, weekend, or holiday availability to support business operations and employee matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage benefits, leave programs, accommodations, and workers' compensation.
• Advise leaders and colleagues on HR policies, practices, and employee relations matters.
• Oversee performance management, coaching, corrective action, and investigations.
• Lead Human Resources projects, colleague initiatives, and assist with the development of HR team members.
• Maintain HR records and HRIS data integrity.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Support employee engagement, culture, and development initiatives.
