Job summary

Chicken of the Sea is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead leadership development, strategic HR initiatives, and employee engagement in a manufacturing plant. You will partner with the Plant Manager to drive organizational excellence and HR effectiveness across operations.

The role focuses on change leadership, talent management, and implementing HR structures and policies to support growth, compliance, and workforce planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Senior HR Manager or Business Partner.
• Total 12+ years in Human Resources within manufacturing.
• Thorough knowledge of US employment law and HR policies/practices.
• Experience in recruiting non-exempt/hourly employees and manufacturing leadership roles.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-impact change efforts and ensure continuity through effective communication and employee engagement.
• Manage the recruitment process, including staffing needs assessment, requisition management, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Conduct comprehensive new hire orientation and benefits sessions.
• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, providing guidance to managers and employees.
• Review salary bands and recommend fair and competitive pay practices.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with employment laws.
• Act as a change agent, engaging with leaders and employees to respond to dynamic priorities.
• Develop and implement HR structures, tools, policies, and procedures to support operational goals.
• Foster a positive and engaging work environment to attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Align leadership on a change-oriented culture and drive priority-based initiatives.
• Measure HR team performance against annual operating plan metrics.
• Provide metrics and analysis to support plant operations.
• Contribute innovative HR leadership and approaches to maximize organizational performance.
• Lead performance review, talent review, and workforce planning processes.
• Act as a strategic partner to the Plant General Manager.
• Uphold TU Values and leverage corporate partners to implement HR best practices.
