Job summary

U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Portsmouth Naval Shipyard seeks a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist to lead Labor/Employee Relations and Employee Benefits programs.

You will oversee HR functions, advise senior leadership on labor relations, and coordinate contract negotiations with management. The role requires experience at senior specialist level, strong advisory capabilities, and the ability to travel as needed to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing complex advisory services in Labor and Employee Relations.
• Knowledge of labor relations concepts, partnerships, and dispute resolution.
• Experience advising executive leadership and negotiating complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Direct HR functions including Labor Relations and Employee Relations.
• Ensure civilian HR programs enable mission requirements.
• Provide advisory support to executives and staff on Labor/Employee Relations.
• Serve as Chief Negotiator for management's contract negotiations.
