Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an investigator role within the People Experience team. You will lead workplace investigations from intake through closure and collaborate with Labor Relations to implement a proactive strategy across the organization.

This role emphasizes data-driven insights, policy interpretation, and skilled stakeholder engagement. As a key partner to business leaders, you will address root causes, deliver practical solutions, and train managers on investigations, labor relations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of HR experience with investigations and handling highly sensitive information.
• Experience conducting fact-finding investigations and producing defensible reports.
• Experience supporting Labor Relations in a proactive posture.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to identify ER trends and address root causes.
• Guidance to employees, managers, and HR on policies, procedures, and laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR investigations end to end regarding workplace issues, policy violations, misconduct, or employment law violations.
• Investigation intake, planning, interviews, evidence review, findings, and written reports.
• Partner with Labor Relations leader to execute a proactive LR strategy.
• Partner with business leaders to identify ER trends and deliver practical solutions.
• Use ER data, case themes, and leader feedback to surface patterns and measure impact.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend policy changes and resolution best practices.
• Maintain knowledge of and guide employees and HR on policies and laws.
• Design and deliver proactive training on investigations and ER fundamentals.
• Facilitate difficult conversations and support conflict resolution.
• Contribute to LR programs and readiness activities with leadership.
