Job summary

ASTEC in Burlington, WI is seeking a Senior Generalist, Human Resources to lead site HR activities onsite at the RexCon facility. You will support benefits, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, and training to ensure consistent policy application.

You will partner with managers to engage employees, promote diversity, and maintain a positive workplace, while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in the human resources field.
• Strong commitment to company core values and ethics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Proficient with MS Word, ERP/HRIS systems and Excel.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with employees, teams and leaders; share information on policies and procedures.
• Provide HR support in coaching, recruitment, performance programs and compensation.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and support hiring of qualified candidates.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies; seek guidance as needed.
• Contribute to projects by coordinating tasks and timelines with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain and update HR policies in line with local requirements.
• Support compensation and benefits programs to attract/retain staff.
• Assist with investigations and maintain records for HR compliance.
