Job summary

Qualifications

• AA degree in related field required.
• Four or more years working in Human Resources; knowledge of HR practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to deal with all levels of employees including senior leadership, as well as outside vendors.
• Strong attention to detail, critical and proactive thinking.
• Ability to demonstrate/convey respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of all BHS staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Enforces company policies and practices.
• Achieve set goals for the HR department.
• Ensure HR aligns with HR, Ethics and Compliance standards.
• Monitor employment-related legislative actions and recommend changes.
• Prepare ongoing and ad hoc HR and compliance reports.
• Oversee daily workflow of the department.
• Lead monthly duties and provide feedback.
• Provide support and guidance to the HR team.
• Co-conduct training and prepare presentations.
• Lead and facilitate new hire orientation.
• Communicate clearly with staff and vendors.
• Maintain familiarity with BHS policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings and participate in committees.
• Coordinate onboarding processes.
• Support employees in various HR topics.
• Ensure personnel files are complete for audits.
• Support day-to-day HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employee files and documentation with HR team.
• Handle benefit enrollments and deductions in payroll system.
• Lead/track annual open enrollment.
