Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations at OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park. You will serve as a trusted HR resource for Curators and leaders, covering employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, training, benefits, and HR administration.

The role requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment. On-site work at OKANA is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist role.
• Experience in high-volume hospitality or service industry is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR practices.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
• SHRM-CP/PHR or similar certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR resource for resort leadership and Curators, advising on policies and workplace concerns.
• Support HR operations and departmental priorities for daily activities.
• Guide managers on employee relations, performance, attendance, and conduct.
• Conduct and assist workplace investigations with documentation and summaries.
• Maintain confidential HR records and ensure compliance across departments.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation; manage I-9 compliance.
• Support benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and safety program administration.
• Assist with HR reporting, payroll-related processes, and employment status changes.
