Children’s Rescue Fund in Bronx, NY, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to provide professional HR support across performance management, orientation, training, and compliance.

You will handle employee relations, advise managers on employment law and policy interpretation, and contribute to HR projects while maintaining confidentiality and high integrity in a fast‑paced nonprofit environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
• At least six (6) years of prior HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, NY PFL, NY Safe and Sick Leave Act, and ADA.
• Experience with benefits administration, leave management, and workers’ compensation.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgment.
• Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and administer HR policies; ensure compliance across sites.
• Manage labor relations and disciplinary issues; conduct investigations and advise leaders.
• Advise managers on employment law and performance management practices.
• Train managers on coaching, actions, communication, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, renewals, and leaves of absence; monitor compliance.
• Maintain HRIS records; support audits and reporting; ensure I-9 compliance.
