EGS is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to provide the DHA Research and Engineering directorate with Human Resources support at the DHA Silver Spring Metro Center 1 (SSMC1) location in Silver Spring, MD.

Duties:

The Senior HR Generalist will provide Human Resources Management Support via Program (Contractor) Oversight/Consultation, Manpower Management Support Services; Staffing and Recruitment Support Services; Pay, Leave and Time & Attendance support Services; Performance Management/Evaluations/Awards Support Services; and Workforce Performance Analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in a Federal Government human resources office and/or team setting. This includes experience in various HR programs, military and civil service, in areas such as workforce development, recruitment, staffing, performance management, HR Systems, compensation, classification, personnel benefits, organizational development, personnel labor relations, and HR workforce analytics.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and networking skills required.
  • Proficiency with office equipment (e.g., computers, multi-line telephone system, voicemail, facsimile, copier, printers), as well as business software for word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and email communications. This includes Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
