Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in HR management with progressive responsibilities
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience
• Ability to manage teams and build relationships at all levels
• Exceptional communication and people skills
• Ability to manage confidential matters with discretion
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and practical experience

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance, and continuous improvement of core HR programs
• Ensure organization’s compliance with ADA, EEO, FMLA, and FLSA
• Support payroll administration and benefits programs
• Manage all leaves including FMLA and disability leave
• Assist staffing, interviews, job descriptions and pay analyses
• Design and implement employee retention strategies and investigations
• Provide guidance to leadership on performance and salary reviews
• Develop HR strategies aligned with business goals
• Support DOT-regulated workforce requirements and safety programs
• Champion a culture of respect, accountability, service, safety, and continuous improvement
