Job summary

Central State Community Services Oklahoma, Inc. seeks a Human Resource Director to oversee the HR department, coordinate staff, and ensure effective personnel practices in Tulsa, OK.

The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is exempt. It requires strong leadership, experience managing HR teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance across audits and safety programs. The director will supervise, train staff, manage benefits, and lead safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year degree in human resources and/or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of management experience in human resources management.
• Familiarity with not-for-profits and government contracts is desirable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with people outside the company and internally within all levels of management and all departments.
• Must be detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and be professional, confidential and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct operations and personnel in the Human Resources Department.
• Supervise HR staff and assist outlying offices.
• Develop and oversee a character recognition program carried out by HR staff.
• Interview, hire and train HR staff and oversee performance evaluations.
• Maintain OSHA logs and oversee safety and health programs across the organization.
