Job summary

Novolex is seeking the Director of Human Resources – Bagcraft to partner with the Bagcraft operating unit and leadership across six US manufacturing sites. You will develop short- and medium-term HR strategies, establish tools and cadences, and ensure deliverables are defined, on time, and within budget.

Lead HR professionals, own talent acquisition and management, advise on culture and organizational development, analytics, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred.
• 7+ years HR business partner experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with talent management, recruiting, compensation, org development.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and ATS; strong analytical skills.
• Ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels; travel up to 40% US.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to align HR projects with business objectives.
• Lead HR team across six US sites; mentor and escalate employee relations issues.
• Oversee engagement, onboarding, and immersion for leadership hires.
• Drive talent management, performance reviews, and workforce planning.
• Guide culture, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives.
• Develop dashboards/analytics to improve People metrics and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with laws and union-related labor relations; negotiate where needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
