RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Senior Associate, HR Controlling to join the HR & Management Support Function Controlling team within the Renewables Business. The role focuses on FTE and personnel cost monitoring, budgeting, planning, and reporting, delivering high-quality executive insights and ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Accounting, Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial or Management Consulting, or other Finance related fields.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to explain complex structures and information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; knowledge in SAP, PeopleSoft, Tableau, Power BI and other system/tools is a plus.
• English fluency; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Senior associate responsible for HR Controlling (FP&A) topics, i.e. create and deliver monthly executive leadership and senior management reporting and ad hoc analysis on FTE and personnel expense, drive special topics, and identify cost saving opportunities, and present key results on top management level.
• Financial planning & cost analysis: Develop and maintain the model and processes for RWECE FTE and personnel cost planning. Coordinate, drive and optimize timely, complete, accurate, high-quality planning/forecasting processes for the business.
• Business Support: Collaborate closely with the business and HR to ensure requirements for reporting and planning are fulfilled.
• Coordination and network: As the primary contact for RWECE functions on FTE and personnel expense within the RWECE Controlling team, coordinate related topics and financial impacts across the RWECE business and the Controlling team.
• Management communication: Prepare materials for and support meetings with Senior Management and the Board for regular reporting activities and special projects/topics.
• Improve & streamline processes: Implement new tools and systems to streamline the handling of large data sets and optimize processes to improve data quality and enhance efficiency.
