Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Specialist to support department services and programs, gathering data for projects, performing administrative duties, and driving process improvements. You’ll compile records, maintain HR forms, and produce reports to aid the university’s strategic HR goals.

Strong emphasis on customer service, confidentiality, and collaboration with other HR areas. Appropriate experience and education will be considered to fit this role within UHealth

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience.
• Any appropriate combination of education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing department services, policies, and programs including data gathering for projects.
• Compiles and maintains departmental records, logs, databases and HR forms.
• Tracks measurements that support the University’s strategic HR goals and prepares necessary reports.
• Provides customer service to employees by responding to requests and questions and directing concerns to appropriate staff.
