Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Sr. Manager, HR Compliance to lead compliance programs across the United States and Canada. The role guides policy governance, investigations, audits, and regulatory risk management while advising People & Culture and Operations leaders.

Responsibilities include developing policies, guiding employee relations, overseeing the Open Line Hotline program, and directing the North America HR Audit Program. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years HR experience with compliance focus.
• 2+ years leading HR professionals in a team setting.
• Strong knowledge of US/Canada employment laws and risk management.
• Hospitality or multi-unit operations experience preferred.
• MBA or related master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR compliance programs across US and Canada.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement policies with Legal partners.
• Develop and maintain company policies, handbooks, and supplements.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, employment law, and wage/hour issues.
• Manage Open Line Hotline program and investigations, drive risk reduction.
• Direct North America HR Audit Program and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, Legal, and Operations.
• Coach and develop the HR Compliance team.
