Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation seeks an experienced HR compliance professional to lead employment, immigration, and regulatory programs. The role focuses on risk management, audit readiness, and administrating I-9/E-Verify with vendors and internal partners.

You will drive policy updates, training, and reporting for federal contractor requirements in a hybrid setup at our NC/MD sites. You will partner with Legal and HR leadership to ensure adherence to evolving laws and to improve efficiency

Qualifications

• 8+ years in employment compliance, immigration, or HR operations with a Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years in employment compliance with a Master's degree.
• 1+ years managing employment-based immigration programs and work authorization.
• 1+ years administering regulatory reporting and federal contractor compliance activities.
• 1+ years interpreting employment laws and developing related policies and training.
• 1+ years managing vendors and cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements and best practices.
• Strong analytical, audit, and data analysis skills with risk identification.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly.
• Proven ability to influence across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Advise HR leadership on emerging employment, immigration, and compliance risks.
• Manage employment-based immigration programs and work authorization strategies.
• Oversee I-9 and E-Verify compliance, with timely reverifications and audits.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and affirmative action plans for federal contractors.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adjust policies, trainings, and submissions.
