Senior HR Business Partner – Transportation & Site Relations

Job summary

RXO is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner based at our Charlotte, NC headquarters. You will partner with site leaders to drive employee relations, policy administration and strategic HR initiatives while balancing administrative tasks.

The role includes 25–30% travel to business sites, a four-day on-site schedule with Friday work-from-home, and collaboration with the HR team to deliver exceptional service and compliant programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 5 years of HR experience in a sales, transportation, or equivalent environment at a senior level.
• Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and time-keeping systems.
• Experience with Microsoft O365.
• Monthly travel to business sites - up to 25-30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sites and the HR team to ensure an open-door climate exists, resulting in excellent customer service.
• Manage employee relations matters and conduct workplace investigations, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, fact-finding, documentation, and recommendations for appropriate corrective action.
• Responsible for the tactical execution of HR policies and strategic initiatives within the supported line of business.
• Assist managers and employees with day-to-day HR activities and compliance.
• Inform senior management and operations of internal and external HR developments that impact overall effectiveness.
• Develop and implement programs or information regarding engagement, HR policies, procedures or information.
• Compile reports and provide them to upper management.
• Ensure HR office is in compliance with all corporate policies and directives.
