Dymax seeks an experienced HR Business Partner in Torrington, CT to align HR practices with business goals and build trusted relationships across the organization.

You will partner with plant leaders, manage staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and development programs while ensuring compliance with US employment laws and regional nuances; travel about 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR generalist role.
• Strong experience in employee relations and performance management, engagement, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic business partner to connect workforce priorities with production forecasts and business goals.
• Help optimize staffing and labor costs with headcount planning and recruitment targets.
• Provide trusted employee relations support across all shifts and coach managers on performance and discipline.
• Champion leadership development by coaching managers and supporting training on employment law and accountability.
• Support talent acquisition, engagement, retention, and succession planning with business leaders.
• Champion safety and compliance with EHS and wage-and-hour laws and OSHA awareness.
• Partner during organizational change with plant leadership on restructurings and automation implementations.
• Support fair compensation and job practices by reviewing market data and internal needs.
