Job summary

The Oregon Department of Corrections is recruiting for a Human Resource Analyst 3, Senior HR Business Partner at Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario, Oregon. The role leads employee relations and coaches managers on hiring, investigations, discipline, and performance management to help achieve business goals.

This position works within the Employee Services Division and collaborates with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 2 years of HR experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of HR experience, OR
• Six years HR experience with four at the professional level, OR
• SHRM-CP or PSHRA-CP with 5+ years HR experience (3 years professional), OR
• SCHRP substitutes for six months of HR experience

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and coaching to managers on hiring, investigations, discipline, and performance management.
• Collaborate across divisions and with unions and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and bargaining agreements.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive HR data.
