The Senior HR Business Partner is accountable for managing relationships with senior management. This role requires understanding the business objectives of the client groups to provide strategic and operational HR support. The HR manager will coach and advise Vice Presidents and Sr. Directors to enhance their leadership capabilities, driving key business outcomes. The role involves collaboration with HR peer groups to develop insights and strategies across all HR functions. The position may lead company-wide international HR projects. Strong prioritization, collaboration, insight-driven solutions, and effective communication are essential for success.
The HR Manager will focus on strategic and tactical HR operations, partnering with the HR leader and global HR team to design and execute talent strategies aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include overseeing HR Operations, Compensation, Immigration, Benefits, HRIS, and HR Business Solutions. The role involves making policy recommendations related to compensation, incentive plans, equity, and performance management, as well as preparing reports and benchmarking compensation data. Experience in all employee lifecycle phases—recruitment, training, performance management, benefits, and succession planning—is required. The manager will oversee the HR Oracle database, manage employee benefits, support immigration processes, and maintain the HR website.
The role involves driving employee recognition and rewards programs and managing the performance and compensation lifecycle across client groups. The manager will work within business budgets, advocate for out-of-guideline recommendations when appropriate, and develop executive compensation proposals. Understanding equity and vesting timelines related to executive pay is important.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field plus 10+ years of progressive experience as a strategic HR business partner/manager. Proven success in managing large-scale HR programs and initiatives. Excellent change management skills, capable of navigating ambiguity and driving change. Ability to build relationships across all management levels and HR functions globally. Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance. Passion for organizational health, transformation, and competitive culture. High proficiency in Excel and HR systems such as Oracle, BeneTrac, and SumTotal. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Multilingual skills (Mandarin or German) are a plus.
