Job summary

State Bar of California is seeking a Senior Human Resources Analyst to oversee and administer the leave of absence program in accordance with state and federal laws; advise managers, supervisors, and employees on leave and disability matters; and monitor, analyze and recommend compliance actions for new and evolving leave management requirements.

The Senior HR Analyst must be an analytical problem-solver who can interpret legislation into sound guidance on complex disability and leave issues,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic achievement.
• Minimum of three years’ experience with employee leave laws, disability laws, employee relations and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer the State Bar’s leave of absence program in accordance with laws.
• Advise managers, supervisors, and employees on leave and disability matters.
• Monitor, analyze and recommend compliance actions for new and evolving leave requirements.
• Assist with reasonable accommodations and workers’ compensation administration as assigned.
