Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a Technical Expert/Functional Expert (HPC) to lead high-performance computing operations and engineering efforts. You will act as a senior authority for Linux HPC systems, schedulers, and interconnects, guiding monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

The role requires 10+ years in HPC/system engineering, a DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

Ten years of HPC/system engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (or 15 years experience in lieu).
Deep Linux expertise on RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, or Ubuntu.
Expert understanding of HPC architecture and high-speed networks (InfiniBand, Slingshot).
OS install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networking, and OS/app troubleshooting; Bash scripting; software compilation and install.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (with verification code).
Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph (recent within 7 years).
On-call requirement.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior technical authority for HPC mission operations sustainment.
Guide monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of large-scale Linux HPC systems, schedulers, and interconnects.
Maintain and optimize HPC infrastructure including InfiniBand/Slingshot networks.
Collaborate with teams to implement improvements and automation.
