Job summary

Swift is currently seeking an HPC Technical/Functional Expert to design, optimize, and support high-performance computing systems from Annapolis Junction, MD. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of HPC environments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 15 years of IT experience in large, complex environments, plus 10 years of HPC experience and hands-on Red Hat and SUSE Linux, xCAT, Nagios, RES, LSF, and SLURM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 15 years of experience in a large complex IT environment providing functional industry expertise with the listed skills.
• 10 years’ experience in a large complex IT environment providing functional industry expertise with the listed skills.
• Experience with HPC MPP systems.
• Experience with Red Hat and SUSE Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced-level troubleshooting, tuning, and support for HPC infrastructure and applications.
• Administer and support high-performance parallel file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for system performance, resource utilization, and fault tolerance.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
