Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Arts and Sciences seeks a Senior HPC Systems Administrator to maintain Linux-based HPC infrastructure, including GPU/CPU nodes and Slurm worklaods. You will collaborate with researchers to optimize research computing and support SAS PARCC central HPC services in a hybrid-eligible role.

Required are a BS degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong Linux scripting, and familiarity with HPC hardware, networking (Infiniband), and configuration

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 3–5 years of experience required.
• Proficiency in Linux OSes and scripting (BASH, Python).
• Experience with SLURM and HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Linux systems for research computing clusters.
• Support SAS PARCC centralized HPC services (CPU/GPU).
• Configure and maintain automation for HPC solutions in data centers and cloud.
