Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a mid-career HPC Software Engineer to join an on-site program in Colorado Springs. You will work with the TUS team to port, optimize, and parallelize codes, mentor junior staff, and design training workshops to help end-users adopt HPC best practices.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and involves collaborating with the Chief Scientist, program lead, customers, and site staff to deliver tailored HPC solutions for workflow, modeling, and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 10+ years professional experience.
• 5+ years in modeling and simulation in heterogeneous, multi-platform environments.
• Experience with HPC users workflow and GUIs.
• Proficiency with Fortran, C, and/or C++.
• Linux OS proficiency and ability to work independently in a lab.
• Experience with coding standards, unit testing, and configuration management.
• Experience delivering HPC training and onboarding material.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior TUS and HPC team members; provide code reviews.
• Design and deliver training workshops, tutorials, and documentation.
• Port, optimize, and parallelize codes to user requirements.
• Collaborate with Chief Scientist, team lead, customers, and site staff on-site.
• Support on-site workflow modeling and data requirements to meet customer needs.
