Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks an experienced High Performance Compute Systems Site Lead for Los Alamos National Laboratory. This onsite leadership role guides HPC infrastructure, Linux systems, and AI platforms with a focus on service delivery, incident management, and customer coordination within a mission-critical environment.

The position requires US citizenship and DOE Q clearance readiness, with standard M-F site hours and occasional after-hours support for maintenance and major

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience or an associate/bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware and data center infrastructure.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with HPC systems and large-scale Linux clusters.
• 3+ years of customer-facing technical leadership or coordination in a production environment.
• Proficiency with Linux (RHEL/SLES) and scripting (Bash/Python).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and service delivery for onsite HPC and AI systems.
• Coordinate daily priorities, incidents, maintenance, and escalations with onsite and remote teams.
• Lead or participate in major incidents, RCAs, and change-control activities.
• Maintain site readiness, tooling, documentation, and customer communications.
• Mentor team members and ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.
