Job summary

Addison Group client seeks an HPC Orchestration Architect in Dallas to shape deployment and management of compute resources across a distributed platform. You will lead architectural decisions around Kubernetes, virtualization, and workload placement with cross‑functional teams.

Experience routing architecture for HPC/high‑end AI workloads, Linux optimization, and distributed file systems is essential. This role is hybrid with in‑office days in Dallas and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of architecture or engineering experience.
• Strong Kubernetes clustering and orchestration experience.
• Experience with HPC clusters or parallel computing.
• Familiar with virtualization, containers, and workload placement effects.
• Ability to explain architectural decisions across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Create scalable designs for orchestrating AI/research workloads across locations.
• Define management of containers, VMs, and compute inside the HPC platform.
• Collaborate with compute, storage, and networking teams on designs.
• Translate product needs and constraints into implementable designs.
• Evaluate new technologies and use performance data to improve the platform.
• Guide engineering teams to apply technical standards efficiently.
• Gather requirements from customers and stakeholders for practical designs.
