Job summary

Mirantis, Inc. is seeking a Senior HPC Networking Engineer to design, deploy, and manage high‑performance networks for AI and data‑center workloads.

You will specialize in InfiniBand fabrics, RDMA, and low‑latency connectivity, ensuring scalable, reliable performance across hybrid environments, including GPU‑accelerated clusters. You will implement Fortinet security policies, automate with Bash, Python, Ansible and Terraform, and collaborate with compute and storage teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, HPC or data center environments.
• Deep expertise in InfiniBand technologies (Mellanox/NVIDIA).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, QoS, design.
• Fortinet deployments: FortiGate, FortiManager, VPNs, firewall policies.
• Knowledge of RDMA, MPI, low-latency networking concepts.
• Certifications such as FCSS/FCNSP, CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
• Automation tooling: Ansible, Terraform, scripting in Bash/Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot HPC network environments.
• Focus on InfiniBand fabrics and Fortinet security implementations.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, latency, and throughput across hybrid networks.
• Collaborate with compute, storage, and platform teams to support HPC workloads.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network architecture and procedures.
