Qualifications

5+ years of Linux System Administration experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area (or 8+ years of total experience without a degree)
CompTIA Security+ certification required
CompTIA Linux+ certification required
TS clearance required
On-site 5 days a week with potential on-site with on-call work
Experience with HPC environments

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain system health on the HPC systems (compute, network, storage)
Review and resolve client tickets and create/close support cases
Maintain availability reports for SLA tracking
Plan and perform monthly patch upgrades and semi-annual kernel upgrades
Maintain security posture as required by the client
Assist with app installations and hardware/system installation activities
Troubleshoot hardware issues and document repairs
Manage on-call schedule for 24x7x2/4 contracts
