Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related technical experience in platform development and research infrastructure.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in engineering.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in high performance computing, research infrastructure, or related environments.
• 4+ years of people management or platform engineering leadership.
• Knowledge of security, HIPAA and privacy principles in healthcare or academic research environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for development, prototyping and delivery of applications and roadmaps in the assigned domain.
• Lead HPC platform architecture and technical roadmap development and evolution.
• Oversee data movement and workflow integration capabilities with Globus and related tools.
• Manage managed services providers, vendors, and incident coordination.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance alignment across the platform.
