Job summary

You will own outreach, onboarding, training, and communications to ensure researchers can access and benefit from HPC services.

You will partner with HPC Engineering and Digital Research Operations, translate researcher feedback into improvements, and scale the support function as platform adoption grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in HPC support or related tech field.
• 2+ years of people management or program leadership.
• Experience working with researchers, faculty, or academic departments.
• Knowledge of HPC concepts, scheduling, storage, and containers.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the researcher-facing HPC service strategy and operating model.
• Lead outreach, onboarding, training, and user engagement for the MGB research community.
• Manage relationships with labs, investigators, and institutional partners.
• Track service health metrics and report to leadership.
• Coordinate incidents and platform upgrades with cross-functional teams.
• Scale the researcher-facing support function as adoption grows.
