Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, scientific computing, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in HPC or research computing environments.
• Experience supporting Linux HPC infrastructure and scientific software.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based HPC infrastructure, compute and storage nodes, and InfiniBand networking.
• Deploy and manage HPC software stacks, compilers, libraries, and module environments.
• Support datacenter activities, hardware configuration, cabling, and system validation during upgrades.
• Monitor system health, diagnose performance issues, and ensure reliability and security of HPC resources.
• Assist with job schedulers and resource management (e.g., Slurm) and troubleshoot user workloads.
• Collaborate with engineers to plan upgrades and implement new HPC tech.
• Develop automation scripts and documentation to improve HPC operations.
• Support scientific workflows and user productivity for researchers.
