Job summary

INflow Federal is seeking an Infrastructure & Cluster Engineer to manage the dedicated customer compute cluster, focusing on high availability, security, and performance. You will oversee Linux systems, storage, and InfiniBand networking to support complex workloads.

You will work with Run:AI, SLURM, and OpenShift/Kubernetes to optimize AI/ML tasks, while implementing automation with Bash and Python. Some travel and DoD compliance duties are involved.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and infrastructure management in HPC environments.
• Experience managing bare-metal servers, enterprise storage, and high-speed networks (InfiniBand).
• Proficient with workload managers and AI orchestration tools (Run:AI, SLURM).
• Hands-on with container orchestration platforms (OpenShift or Kubernetes).
• Experience writing automation scripts (Bash, Python) for cluster maintenance.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware, network, and OS issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the customer compute cluster and Linux admin tasks.
• Configure and optimize workload management and orchestration platforms (Run:AI, SLURM).
• Tune cluster performance across hardware, OS, and network layers.
• Administer storage and high-speed networking; support InfiniBand topology.
• Provision environments and containers (OpenShift) for model deployment.
• Ensure security and compliance with federal standards; maintain accreditations.
