Job summary

RedLine Performance Solutions is seeking a Lead High Performance Computing (HPC)/Cloud Systems Administrator. The role requires strong security, Linux HPC expertise, configuration management, and networking background to support on-premise and cloud HPC environments.

US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required. This is a remote, full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401k match, and health care benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years RedHat, Rocky, and/or CentOS Linux system administrator experience.
• Experience leading a technical solution and the system administration team in a large production environment.
• Ability to configure, deploy and manage major system areas such as batch systems, network, data storage, backup systems, databases, or distributed computing.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to administer resources from the OS up in on-premise and cloud HPC environments.
• Integrate and configure compute resources and service nodes.
• Install software on compute resources, service nodes, and parallel filesystems.
• Develop and implement system and performance monitoring and benchmarking.
• Maintain system documentation and review change management requests.
• Provide 24x7 emergency support and production uptime.
• Offer technical leadership and direction to team members.
