Job summary

Project FIND seeks a Property Manager to oversee building operations across its NYC portfolio, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant housing for residents. You'll supervise on-site staff, coordinate tenant services, and partner with social services to support residents.

Reporting to the Director of Property Management, you will manage tenant move-ins, subsidies, inspections, and data in Yardi and other systems, while maintaining accurate records and fostering positive tenant relations.

Qualifications

• At least five years of property management experience, preferably in nonprofit settings.
• Familiarity with NYC housing agencies and rental subsidy programs.
• Experience with third-party back-office providers and Yardi property management software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations and occupancy; handle income certifications, background checks, and waitlists.
• Coordinate with subsidy agencies for certifications and lease renewals; manage rent ledgers.
• Oversee make-ready, inspections, and work orders; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise on-site maintenance staff and coordinate with facilities team.
• Lead bi-weekly property/social services meetings and participate in tenant meetings.
• Support other sites and ensure data accuracy in property systems.
