Job summary

The position requires deep knowledge of land use and housing policy, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage politically sensitive, multi-stakeholder projects.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in public policy, urban planning, public administration, law, or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in public policy, affordable housing, land use planning, or related fields.
• Two years of project management experience required.
• AICP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy analysis and prepare legislative recommendations for city officials and commissions.
• Coordinate amendments to land use codes and development regulations.
• Manage regional housing planning initiatives and multi-department projects.
• Engage with community members and stakeholders to inform policy decisions.
