Qualifications

• Five (5) years of combined experience and education in journalism, communications, public relations, English literature or related field.
• Track record of earning positive media coverage using media contacts and relationships.
• Past work in communications in housing, housing agency or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute complex housing communications strategies.
• Staff media events and prepare talking points.
• Write press releases and publish mass emails using GovDelivery.
• Coordinate cross-agency housing communications and timelines.
• Update division website pages and provide crisis communications.
