Job summary

Daly Seven is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead and inspire a professional housekeeping team in a busy hotel. You will train staff, supervise cleaning and laundry operations, and ensure compliance with brand standards while upholding safety, quality, and guest comfort.

You will inspect rooms daily, manage schedules, and coordinate deep-clean initiatives, with a hands-on leadership approach and focus on team development and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or lead housekeeping experience with a strong track record in professional cleaning skills and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of standard housekeeping procedures, laundry operations, inventory control, and room inspection protocols.
• Familiarity with hotel brand standards and Daly Seven operational guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: model uniform and appearance standards; train all new housekeepers; supervise housekeeping and laundry; critique performance; assign daily tasks; prepare schedules.
• Drive Results & Operations: inspect rooms daily; clean rooms and handle laundry; complete monthly inventory; track missing linen; schedule deep-clean projects; manage late check-outs and Do Not Disturb signs.
• Ensure Safety & Standards: monitor daily operations; report maintenance hazards; check supply storage areas; enforce timekeeping and lunch breaks; maintain confidentiality.
