Job summary

Daly Seven invites a dedicated Room Attendant to uphold pristine guest rooms and public areas, ensuring travelers feel welcomed and safe from entry to departure.

You will clean rooms, assist guests with courtesy, log completed rooms, handle linen reports, and protect keys and sensitive information while working weekends. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and physical stamina is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned guest rooms and common areas to the high standards specified by the Head Housekeeper or manager.
• Always speak to guests with courtesy and a friendly smile.
• Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure everything is in perfect working order for our guests.
• Mark each cleaned room on your housekeeping sheet and notify the front desk immediately when a room is ready.
• Complete missing linen reports for every room and promptly turn in all lost and found items.
• Maintain neat, locked storage closets and ensure your housekeeping cart is restocked, trash is emptied, and vacuums are cleared at the end of every shift.
• Arrive on time, in the appropriate uniform with your name tag, and obtain your work schedule promptly.
• Ensure Safety & Security: act as a vital part of the hotel security team by remaining alert for potential hazards and promptly reporting them to the manager.
• Maintain strict control of room keys at all times, keeping them securely in your smock and never leaving them on a cart.
• Keep all business information strictly confidential, both while on duty and off duty.
• Report all maintenance problems directly to the manager to ensure guest comfort.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
